Who’s New: Digital Schools Board of Advisors


Craig A. Schilling, Ed.D

Craig graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Maryland in 1976 with a Bachelor of Science degree. In 1978 he received a Masters of Education degree from Boston University. Craig received a Certificate of Advanced Study in School Business Management from Northern Illinois University in 1982. and earned his Doctorate in Education from Northern with a concentration in school law in 1989. In 1992, Craig was named Assistant Superintendent for Business Affairs at Glenbrook HS District. Craig served as the President of the Illinois Association of School Business Officials (IASBO) in 1994-95, and from 1996 through 1998, he served on the Board of Directors of the Association of School Business Officials International. Since 1993, Craig has also served on the Illinois Financial Accounting Committee, having been appointed by the State Superintendent of Instruction to give advice on school finance issues. 


Warren Williams

Warren Williams is the recently retired Assistant Superintendent of Information and Technology Services for the Grossmont Union High School District in La Mesa, California. At Grossmont, Warren served variously as Educational Technology Coordinator, Adult School Principal, Dean of Students and teacher. His responsibilities included the development, implementation and comprehensive management of technology and data-management infrastructures. He also served at Ramona High School in Ramona, California and was selected as the Association of California School Administrators’ Administrator of the Year for Region 18 in 1999. Warren currently serves as President of the Board of Directors for the California Educational Technology Professionals Association (CETPA), is the K-12 Statewide Coordinator for Cal-PASS and is a member of the Applications Coordination Committee for the California K-12 High Speed Network. He is also an instructor and mentor for CETPA’s statewide CTO Mentor program.
